JMG engineered a complete automation solution centered on Control4 for centralized control, Josh.ai for natural voice automation, and a fully customized Lutron lighting and shading system. The result: a residence where every environment responds intelligently to voice, touch, and schedule — all while maintaining the home’s crisp modern design aesthetic.
Using Josh.ai, the homeowner can control lighting, music, shades, temperature, and more with simple, natural language commands. This elevated the user experience beyond app-based control, adding a layer of conversational intelligence that fits effortlessly into daily routines. Scenes such as “Good morning” or “Entertain” instantly adjust lighting, music, and shading to match the mood.
This home’s architecture featured distinctive angled windows that required a custom-engineered shading solution. JMG Audio Video designed and installed Lutron shades that open and close from the bottom up — a rare and highly specialized application that preserved both the aesthetics and the functionality of the large glass façades. These shades provide privacy and solar control without obstructing the home’s striking sightlines.
The lighting design, fully managed by Lutron, offers rich scene control and dynamic dimming, aligning with circadian schedules and enhancing the home’s modern feel through warm-dim and tunable white fixtures.
