When the founders of Shore Car Club set out to create a premiere destination for automotive enthusiasts, they envisioned more than just a place to store exotic cars. They imagined a social environment — part showroom, part lounge, part event venue — where lighting, sound, and technology elevated the overall experience. JMG Audio Video was brought in to design and implement a complete smart-control ecosystem that merged form, function, and thrill.
Located in Ocean Township, NJ, Shore Car Club is a large-scale luxury facility built to cater to owners of high-end sports cars and collectors. The project included expansive garage areas, members’ lounges, event spaces, and presentation zones. Each space required precise control over lighting and audio/video to ensure a seamless experience that could shift effortlessly from day-to-day use to special events or private gatherings.
JMG Audio Video deployed a Lutron control system as the backbone for all lighting functionality. Over 100 DMX color-changing fixtures were integrated, allowing the club to easily transform spaces with dynamic color scenes, accent effects, and adaptive brightness. Members can shift the entire ambiance — from vibrant showcase lighting for cars during events to refined, warm tones for evening receptions — all through a single, intuitive interface.
Custom lighting scenes were programmed to highlight vehicles, define architectural features, and enhance the overall brand aesthetic. The Lutron system ensured precise synchronization, reliability, and easy management, whether controlled from wall-mounted keypads, touchscreens, or mobile devices.
To complement the lighting system, JMG Audio Video implemented Control4 to unify the facility’s audio and video systems. With this integration, staff and members can easily control distributed music, video displays, and digital signage throughout the club. From the main lounge’s sound system to displays in the car bays and event areas, everything operates through a consistent and straightforward interface.
The combination of Control4 and Lutron allows the Shore Car Club staff to create complete environmental presets — changing lights, music, and media with a single tap — perfect for events, private showings, or club gatherings.
